Who we are

Leo for 25 ("the Campaign," "we," "us") is the campaign committee supporting Leonardo "Leo" Quintero for Alderman of Chicago's 25th Ward. This policy explains what information we collect through leofor25.com and our organizing programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you sign up to volunteer, join our email or text message lists, attend an event, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and any message you send us. We also collect standard technical information automatically when you visit this site, such as browser type and pages viewed, through our website provider (Squarespace). Donations are processed by ActBlue, whose own privacy policy governs information you submit on its donation pages.

How we use your information

We use your information to communicate with you about the Campaign — including volunteer opportunities, events, campaign updates, and donation requests — by email and, if you have opted in, by text message; to organize volunteer activities; to comply with campaign finance and other legal requirements; and to maintain and improve our website.

Text messaging

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we will send you recurring campaign text messages, which may include donation requests. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get assistance by replying HELP. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party except as required to deliver messages through our messaging service provider.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who help us operate the Campaign (such as our website, email, and text messaging platforms), as required by law (including campaign finance disclosure requirements for contributions), or with your consent.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or contact us at info@leofor25.com to update or request deletion of your information.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
